Project SEED: 2021 Year in Review

2021 is coming to an end and now it is time to look back and see what critical milestones Project SEED has achieved in this bustling year for the crypto and gaming world as a whole. Let’s witness history in the making of how we took the journey of taking the GameFi 2.0 Metaverse Ecosystem and the next-gen gaming industry to the next level.

Q1 2021

We finished our whitepaper and continued to upgrade it into a 2.1 version, giving the most comprehensive guide for players, partners, and investors to learn about our project — a GameFi Metaverse Ecosystem. The Whitepaper 2.1 uncovers extensive documentation about our business, game mechanics, market approach, and project development direction.

Q2 2021

Project SEED has successfully closed its private funding round valued at $3.1 million. This funding initiative was participated by up to 40 leading venture capitalists and partners in the crypto industry, enabling Project SEED to take momentous steps at driving the next steps for this next-gen gaming multiverse. We’re pleased to be backed by a caliber of preeminent partners — tier 1 investors of Huobi Ventures, Solar Eco Fund, Cipholio, Solana Capital, BlackEdge Capital, and other high-profile venture capitalists including Basics Capital, UG Ventures, Exnetwork Capital, Minted Lab, and a series of up to 30 other investment firms from 10++ countries.

This quarter saw the release of our official gameplay trailer that introduces to users the very first scenes inside the captivating world of Outland Odyssey. We also launched a series of gaming development footages to help users understand more about the process of making our first ARPG title. These include the combat healing progress, main hero character-revealing, and exclusively the epic original soundtrack of Outland Odyssey.

Q3 2021

To prepare for our Early Test that was coming in Q4 2021, we started Q3 with an introduction of the gameplay demo mechanism. Inspired by Monster Hunter, Diablo, and Pokémon, we would like to give our take on the ARPG genre and challenge players in an action-packed journey through the lands of Avoria in Outland Odyssey. The core gameplay loop will revolve around fast-paced combat against wild Zeds. It also focuses on allowing the players to actively dodge and strike at the enemy in real-time. They will use a combination of standard attacks and directionally aimed special moves acting like a faster version of a MOBA.

We’re also happy to announce that Project SEED was audited by CertiK — a leading blockchain security firm and successfully passed. A comprehensive examination has been performed, utilizing Static Analysis and Manual Review techniques to discover issues and vulnerabilities in our source code and any contract dependencies that were not part of an officially recognized library. As we learn more about this Certik audit in progress, we will continue to address their findings to ensure a high level of security standards and industry practices.

Q4 2021

Q4 2021 marked one of our most significant events as Project SEED launched our very first multichain public token sale ever on Solanium, Gamefi, and Gamestarter on November 9, 2021. For the first time ever, a multichain initial token offering became available for users, kicking off the journey to bring powers to them in our ecosystem. The total volume has reached $100 million just after 24 hours of listing $SHILL on our first exchange. After this successful IDO, $SHILL is now available to trade on multiple platforms of Kucoin, Gate.io, Bitmart, Raydium, Apeswap, and Bybit.

Following our public sale, Project SEED announced our $SHILL staking program on Hot Cross, Kucoin, Raydium, and Apeswap, offering users more opportunities to earn rewards and increase their assets with SHILL. This is to significantly increase coin holders’ chances of validating blocks and receiving rewards. It’s also an easy way to earn incentives for the act of simply holding your SHILL. Each platform yields a different APR, ranging from 31% to 137% (recorded at the moment of writing).

We also opened our Early Test of Outland Odyssey in Q4 2021, with registration from December 21 to December 23; and officially testing on December 25, 2021. This demo version test offers SHILL holders the opportunity to get the firsthand experience of our first game title and immerse in the enticing gaming world that we have been preparing for so long. The test received a generally favorable rating of level 4 accounted for the most rated rank on a scale of 1 to 5 (35.8%).

Milestones for Q1 2022

During Q1 2022, we plan to release 84 game assets in Outland Odyssey together with a great variety of system building for the game, including AI, multiplayer and skill system. Another explosive feature in Project SEED metaverse ecosystem that will be introduced in the first months of 2022 is NFT Auction and Marketplace. To increase usability and convenience, our NFT Marketplace will be available both in-game and also off-game (Web3 application). For the professional merchant, we will create a Merchant Application to specifically boost their profitability and exposure to the players across the ecosystem.

All of these achievements have made 2021 particularly exciting for Project SEED as we have been taking many important steps in building a GameFi Metaverse Ecosystem that can disrupt the next-gen gaming industry. We look forward to establishing new milestones over the upcoming 12 months along with valuable support from our partners and users.
