Blockchain Transfer Test in December Bug Bounty
The year 2022 almost reaches its end and Project SEED has a surprise even in the last month of the year. Project SEED is super delighted to announce that Outland Odyssey has finally moved to the next phase in beta test: the Blockchain Transfer.
Outland Odyssey is a web3 game where players can play-and-earn. While currently in beta testing, many features are gradually introduced until the game feels complete for the big launch. The blockchain transfer feature is an important element of the game, hence why it is introduced when it is nearly complete.
The blockchain transfer allows players to try transferring tokens from Solana to Shill and vice versa. The studio understands how this feature needs to be as smooth as possible, hence we encourage players and testers to try and report any bugs encountered during the process.
“What if I encountered a bug during transfer and I lost my token?”
Rest assured, Project SEED has prepared a devnet faucet to claim some Solana, O2, and SHILL token. Please note that the tokens generated from these faucets are not real token and are only meant to be used as a test token for Outland Odyssey’s blockchain transfer feature
How to Use Blockchain Transfer
1. Log In to Your Outland Odyssey Account
- Login to your account
2. Copy the wallet address
- Click on the right-most option to show your token & wallet address
- Click on the address (the one highlighted in rectangle)
- Choose “Copy Address”
3. Claim Devnet token
- Go to: https://solfaucet.com/
- Copy and paste your Outland Odyssey wallet address (generated from step 2) to claim some SOL on Solana Devnet
- Go to https://faucet.projectseed.com to claim some O2 token and SHILL token
4. Deposit the token
- Head back to your account in https://account.outlandodyssey.com
- Choose the tab “Token Transfer” and see that your requested devnet tokens (SOL, O2, and SHILL) are listed there
- Choose “Wallet” and you can deposit from wallet to SHILL or O2, see if it works properly for you
5. Withdraw the token
- Still in Token Transfer, head to “Game” tab (beside the Wallet)
- Choose/make sure of your wallet address
- Input the amount of SHILL or O2 that you want to withdraw
This marks the end of Blockchain transfer feature, do check if you encounter any problem during the deposit/withdrawal process.
Blockchain Transfer Counts as Bug Bounty
Here’s the good part: if you found any bug during the whole process… that’s your cue to report it! It will be counted just like the bugs in the game and accumulated together with the amount of bugs you submitted.
December marks the last month in which bug bounty is held. Be sure to participate and report even more bugs, especially the ones encountered from this blockchain transfer test (as the chance for you to get the first bug ever here is quite high!).
